which anime do you think is better. digimon or pokemon

Everyone has their own opinions but I like Digimon better. Pokemon is just endless repetitiveness. Ash, going on a journey with new friends and it all ends the same. He still look the same after all those years. Digimon has different story-line for each sequel/prequel. Characters are interesting and great as well as their enemies.

Digimon, of course. At least it has a story.

When I was a kid I refused to watch digimon at all. I still do today. Since I didn't watch digimon, I watched pokemon. It was one of my favorite shows when I was 10, I got the collectables, the games, plushies, whatnot, and then came the tournament. I HATED that Ash lost the tournament, and even losing as far back as the 4th heat. Fuck you pokemon animators. (Also, fuck you again for making Ash get rid of Butterfree, you dicks)

After that I still watched (with anger of course, a tiny flag with a declaration of war in hand and drums in the background) but eventually got bored of it completely by the time the pokemon movie with Entei was released.

So, my child self will say pokemon, my modern self would say neither.

The thing about Pokemon was that it was a game before it was show, the show was used to advertise directly to a child audience, it was always stupid but in the first series I guess he actually had an excuse because he was only ten, now he is between 15 and 20, its like he has no excuse, when I was younger I loved both of the shows, then Digimon disappeared and all i had left was Pokemon, it was probable good up to the series before he got to the Hoen reigen, and the movies stayed good till after Pokemon Heros so think that

I thought it was a rip off as well... Never really liked Digimon... Pokemon was amazingly cool and awesome! I was addicted to it. But, as quiet said, I eventually got bored of it. It should have ended with Pokemon 2...

I think most people here were addicted to pokemon around 10-12, me included. I thought Pokemon 4 was too much though, personally.

Pokemon started out okay...but after a little while it just got predictable

Ash goes to town...battles...wins some, lose some...gets a pokemon...travels on....oh & those rocket people or whatever comes in the middle & gets blown up....too predictable :dead:

So for me Digimon is wayyyyyyyy betta!! The people changed, the digimon changed, the evolutions changed, but then it went away & I was mad :mad:

So Digimon is definitely better ^__^
