"LIFE"


When I was a child,
like most children I was afriad of the dark.
As I grew I learned not to fear it,
for now I live in it.
Hiding from those closest to me
my true self and beliefs.
We all do.
We walk in the shadows never
fully stepping into the light.
Some people believe they
are in the light.
What they don't realize
is that their belief
that as christians their
true place is to be next to God,
and to be seperated is punishment.
That the beautiful gift known as life
is then actually the punishment known
as Hell.
Knowing where I am
and knowing what awaits
How can I not be comfertable in the darkness?
My life started in darkness
as all ours have,
and in the end
I will be greated again
by that same darkness.
It's arms opened
Like an old friend.
For in truth we have walked
side by side through this Hell
called LIFE.
