Rep points don't actually do anything but it is helpful sometimes. For example, when you see a person with 5 positive rep boxes and a person with 5 negative (red) rep boxes, you'll know who to trust!!! But, except from such huge differences, it doesn't really matter. To get rep u gotta have a good post and a ton of luck for smn to acknowledge it and take the time to give u rep. Most of the times, we actually forget about rep and don't use it... so don't let it bother u!!!

not really. some members used to give posotive AND negative rep randomly and just for fun. so you can't really judge someone by his rep level.
