I honestly think it is fine, if they are doing it because they are in pain and have accomplished all that they wanted to do in life. but if it is used as a way to escape debt then he should alert the family so they can give some help.

If your dog or cat was suffering from cancer or a similar illness and you kept it alive you would be called cruel and inhumane. Why is it any different for humans?

What the....! I completely disagree with the idea. Suicide means abandoning your hope of living... I just can't accept this.

personaly from my view if someone wants to kill themselfs i say go for it jsut means less stupid ppl out there... and yes im speeking from myself becuase i even thought about killing myself before becuase of masive depression i go through sometimes but i would want to live beuase i want to make something of myself and be usefull to myself and to the world unlike my dad and im tryin to prove to him and everyone that thinks im worthless and a bumb....

You're saying even if the pain was unending, you had to be hooked up to a machine or die, you had no dignity left because you could no longer even wipe your own a$$, you would rather live that way? And you would push that kind of suffering on others based on your own beliefs? Sounds Sado-masochistic.

Well if the situation has surpassed a certain limit, then yes I agree with euthanasia. However, ending your life for other reasons, such as depression, is totally wrong for me. In my previous post I didn't clarify this. I only agree with euthanasia in extreme situation and only with the person's will, if it is possible of course.

Maybe I shoulda put this in "Debate"?
