twilight vs interview with the vampire/harry potter
im really kind of sick of the whole twilight craze, i read all the books and i know how bad they were. alot of people will say that it was greatbut it wasnt, i mean really, it was an ok romance novel, but a horrible vampire story. so i am going to compare it to my favorite book and the "rival" book series. first is interveiw with the vampire, this is the best vampire series ever written, everything about it is better than twilight, the mood the setting the char. the language they use. it is better written, i havent even finished all of the iwtv series(there are 8) and im so hooked. next ill compare it to the "rival" books, harry potter was so much better than twilight, in terms of story you can see the difference in writting style, in twilight it was just to unrealistic, im talking about the human side of the story, in HP they all act like real people do, in twilight bella acts nothing like i teenager her age acts. the whole time i was reading the books i wanted to punch her in the face, all she did was whine. as a sidenote i would like to say that the eragon series was also better than twilight.

Interview with the Vampire beats twishit and Harry Potter by a long shot.
I don't understand this whole twishit craze. There are better books/movies out there. |

I second that. Interview with a Vampire will always be one of the best vampire movies out there besides Dracula. Twilight was over rated and crap! I dont understand what the hell girls are going crazy for, me personal as a chick prefer Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise as blood sucking vamps over Patterson.. and Harry Potter has nothing on Interview, not even close.

Interview with a Vampire was awesome as a book and good as a movie. That was one of the few movies I actually enjoyed watching Tom Cruise play in. He did well as Lestat, Brad Pitt brought out Louis' character very well, but having Antonio Banderas play Armand was a big no no.
Twilight wasn't all it was cracked up to be. The graphics weren't all that great and neither was the plot line. It did crack me up that the authoress (don't know her name) was pissed because they butchered her book. You would think she would have known that watching movies based on books. |
This isn't even a debate to have Interview with a Vampire and Twilight in the same thread.

Twilight can't even compete with Interview with a Vampire. |
All I can do is laugh...... Comparing a book/movie written for shallow minded teeny boopers clones and a book/movie written for people that actually think for themselves..........

Fantasy/vampire/romance fiction bores me. They can all drop off a cliff for all I care.

I have to agree with BoneTosser.
Even though Interview and Twilight are both about vampires thats where the similarities end. It would be be like comparing Shakespeare to "Dick and Jane" (If you don't know the D&J books; Google it) |
