Gaiking Legend of Daiku Maryu is the next season to Gaiking. Well sort of, It still has Gaiking and the Space Dragon. It's based off a boy who was caught up in an accident while fishing with his father. They are attacked by Iron Beasts, his father taken and him rescured by the crew of gaiking. Five or so years later, he is called the monster boy which means "Little Liar", cause no one believes him. He only has one friend, who has had problems cause of him. In explaining what happened and who he met that night, his friend says he doesn't believe him anymore. But then an object he got from "the girl with eyes like the sea" burns and the Iron beasts reappear. And through a series of events he becomes the pilot of Gaiking The Giant of Flames.
