I was just wondering if anyone on AnimeFuel played competitive Pokemon, I might actually be able to talk about it to people who aren't as elitist as the people at Smogon.

Maybe. It's hard to play pokemon competitivly just because you need to be in the right place at the right time.

You can just ignore my post in the other thread.
I had no idea people had taken pokémon to this height.

Sorry, I got to the other one first.
And @quietchat: The easiest (but probably not the funnest) way to play competetive Pokemon is through the battle simulator "Shoddy Battle", it's quite easy that way.

No biggie, i'm stealing my brothers DS for some weeks after reading a little on that page. Sounds sweet as hell.

Tip: EV train, but don't IV breed, it takes forever. Shoddy Battle is also good, but the people who play are incredibly good. The best part of competetive Pokemon is playing against those who have no idea, like when they don't EV train and my Choice Scarf Machamp outspeeds their Jolteon.

Yea I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about with IV and EV training :dizzy:
But I have Pokemon Diamond and have gotten bored of it. I might start back playing if I don't get Final Fantasy Tactics A2

pokemon diamond and pearl games were disappointing, it was easier to beat the Elite 4. though i do like how you can re capture the pokemon from your other GBA poke games.
