No, it's not all American techno. I'm not even too sure if there is any there. I mean, I'm sure there is, but yeah...

Also, I'll recommend my own:

Freestylers
Bomfunk Mc's
Pendulum
Fatboy Slim
The Crystal Method
Dj Assault

Some of them might be on that list, not too sure. And a warning for Dj Assault, he makes very good music, but some of it is rather sexual (like Ass n Titties for example).

Close, but does it really matter? Cause Techno, trance, dnb, progressive, psychedelic, hardcore, breaks, house, dance and electronica are in their own call of genre. Granted they are all different sounds but to an untrained, unlearned ear, do you think they would think there is a difference?

Have you heard any of those songs live? It's a HUGE difference from listening to it in your hose or car to a club or rave. The music is on a different level, mostly because of the crowd. You move not just because of the music but because of the atmosphere and because of this factor the music itself has a totally different feel. I don't know how to explain it right, I've been listening to this music for years and I remember when I first stared listening I only like certain songs and certain artists. Now I live for the music, doesnt matter if its basshunter, teisto, atb, diesel boy, pendulum or santana(hardcore DJ not the guitarist) just as long as I hear that bass and feel the beat. This genre has very many levels and I feel like I've only touched the tip of the ice berg, even after all these years. I say just dance. Dance to the music.

yer thats is true what techno you guys think would be the best live?

leerock89
01-07-2009, 01:37 PM
Well that depends on your personality really, and what type of electronic music you like. First off you have to know the difference between techno trance drance house electronica drumb & bass psychedelic and hardcore. Once you figure out the difference, especially between techno and trance, then you will know what you would like to hear live. Me personally I like to hear the techno/trance/dance scene, not much into hardcore or drumb and bass. Psychedelic is awesome live when I'm on something and house and electronica are too blase for me.

I like the techno/trance coming out of Russia and Europe right now, some really good producers from both places are making some really good music. As for Japan I'm not to sure. I know some good Japanese DJ's but not producers... actually that goes for most of Asia, lots of good DJ's not to many good producers.

I dont know, that steady beat helps with my roll. Seriously that constant beat gets my heart in rhythm and gets me rolling harder.

Actually, I'm with Lee on this one (for once). No music is more heart pumping then techno blasting in Bose headphones at an ear-bleeding level of volume.

I've done that plenty of times. I remember once I have listening to a really really good song and I was sitting at a red during a buildup and I had my hands up and moving like crazy. I looked to the right and the other driver was giving me the weirdest look, like I was crazy and shit, and I looked at him gave him a thumbs up and drove away.
