Okay so I have had photoshop for like a year but I never really started using it until now!

Can you guys give me like some training in it please?

I want to understand and know how to:

1.change backgrounds (such as having a pic of me and changing the background)

2.creating objects and such from nothing

3.basic tool and brush control

4.actually all the controls

5.and tips on how to fix images such as removing scars and such but then keeping the same skin tone or adding scars.

all help and tips would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks everyone!

http://www.brusheezy.com/brushes that is a site where you can download brushes. After you download them unzip them and put them in your brush directory i.e C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Brushes

if they haven't loaded up then open photoshop and press F5, the brush menu should open up... then you drag the brushes from the folder into the photoshop brush menu.

as for changing backgrounds the "History PaintBrush" works nicely just after you copy and paste an object X into picture Z you use the "history paintbrush" to change it...

Too many questions all at once!!!
It's barely possible to "teach" you anything about PS this way :dead:
Especially if you don't know any basics... :o.o:
Therefore, If I were you I would buy a PS tutorial book.. or look for some tutorials online. There's plenty useful hints on youtube.
Just type in google something like "Photoshop basics"
The creators of the Photoshop, say that it takes minimum 5 years to learn an master everything about their software. Sure, you don't need to know "everything" most of people need just a couple of months to know how to do simple editing. :dancing:
