I liked death note, but I couldn't get into the live movies. I think L was really awesome too, but light was really cool to.

L was the bomb. Right after he died, I got so upset. The story would be better off it L would have live all throughout.

watched the movies first which got me reading the manga... i must say i enjoy both of them just the same but the manga does get into parts of the story that the movie didn't have time to show... next on the wish list will be the anime

Death Note is pretty cool. I've only read the mangas but I might get to watch the Death Note movie in Action. Also, I've heard that Death Note is popular in Japan.

Freakin love Death Note but the live action movies blew some serious sac. I thought L was cool but I really wanted Light to win.:pissed:

Death Note is pretty cool. I've only read the mangas but I might get to watch the Death Note movie in Action. Also, I've heard that Death Note is popular in Japan.

yes it is quite popular in japan atm... i just returned from there as i was living there for a while... =)

The series is kewl with the extra features with the voice actors, especially Ryuuk, you look at him go oh well ok then you hear him with Ryuuk's voice and your like whoa wow KEWL!!!!!!!
