Ehem,
simple question, how many of you can actually draw and that your work looks like something, that you can see what is on it and not to have to guess(I have a hostile friend who gets upset when showin' me his work, cause I can't see what's on 'em, but is really bad.....em....)?

I can draw pretty good for a 13 yr old but once i tried to write manga but the storyline was horrible.

I do them both "good", I'm bein' modest.......... lol
and yeah, drawin manga characters, monsters, whatever, just that people can see what it is.
I mean it's not all in watchin an reading stuff, the best is when you can draw them yourself.
I'm a freak in that.
I draw about 4 to 8 hours a day........
but I' normal......I am.......

Ever since I bought the book on how to draw manga my drawing has improved greatly. I use my drawing skills to create the characters in my stories so that people can see what they look like. I'm thinking of drawing a logo for my latest story and attaching some J-music and posting it on YouTube. Just for promo purposes

So, when you draw something and you ask someone for that someones opinion, do you want that someone to be completly honest with you and give you advice, that is if the person's better in that, or to avoid the truth and be more suptile????

Oh believe, there are bad drawings and good ones, I mean good and bad drawers. It's not always the style of drawing that's bad, sometimes something that looks pretty good can look like crap to somebody else, but when there is a drawing that everybody likes, that's something worth mentioning. It's just the way it turns out to be. :serious:

well i draw well...i started drawing manga 3 years ago ... right now i can only draw faces ..and i hope i can improve XP.... i still have mistakes..but i am working on it...i love to draw ..and i accept ppl critisizing ....but it has to be constructive or they wil face hell from me XD

People like anything they can't do.
It's interesting what bull you can draw and they will still say it's great, you wouldn't believe.
Motivation, I don't know, I don't have a lack of it. Sometimes is enough just to look at something, but I guess it must be the music that I listen to.

My friends always tell me that I can't draw boys XD they are girlish. I can't draw animals also. Btw if you want to see some drawings chek the Graphic thread.

I can draw pretty well. Been practicing for just about 4 years i think. I often ask people what they think of my work, and I dont mind them critisicing (How's that spelled again??) If its constructive instead of "Looks bad."

I can draw pretty well when I have something to copy from/look at (won a contest in my high school art class at the very least and got great comments from others)...I tend to mess up on shading or proportions when I make something up and draw it from my imagination. For me, though, it's adding color that screws me over. Whenever I try to add color to anything, it totally messes up what was once a decent picture...that and hands/feet. Why are those appendanges such a pain to draw?!!!
