Gundam SEED

Hey everyone,

I've noticed that a lot of people don't like the character Fllay Allster. What I don't understand is why. Would anyone mind to explain their reason?

She was a bit selfish in Seed. She also kind of used Kira, from what I remembered.
However, she was important in a way that Kira found comfort in her (hope I stated correctly) when they were together in Arcangel. Whenever he feels down, he always could go to her to cry on. That's why she is so important to Kira.

I hated her after she became emo. (You get what I mean) Then near the end, I feel kinda sorry for her and started liking her. I don't hate her.

My initial thought when she was using Kira was that she was mentally and emotionally upset. Therefore she really was not aware of what she was doing. Her mother was already deceased and then losing her father right in her face, I'm sure over a hundred thoughts went through her mind. Where she would go, how to survive and other things like that. Usually when a loved one is murdered, the initial impulse is anger and revenge. I know if I was still 15 it would drive me a little crazy to begin with.

Yeah, that's what I was also thinking back then. That's why I'm neutral when it comes to her. It's kind like I want to hate her, but I really can't. Also, when she was using Kira, I thought she was more of like helping him. If she was not there, he could have been, I dunno, worst.

At first when she started to use kira i didnt like her... even when she had a selfsih reason, but when the end came and she died right before kira's eyes i felt sorry for her since kira did find comfort with her and somewhat helped him out.
But he's better with lacus and i guess with the death of flay he was sad but when she talked to him he felt comforted like before. I guess the person who took her place (in a good way was lacus) and they were very happy in the end of Gundam seed Destiny.

I haven't seen this show in forever so it took me a sec to figure out who we were talking about. And yeah I just happened to find her more annoying than anything, I couldn't really hate her.

Ok Kira is my most favorite Gundam Character (After Athrun) ever. I look at what she did to poor Kira and I attempty to stab her through my computer screen.

When here father died, I definatly felt sorry for her, but it couldn't last as she continued to think of Kira like that.

she was emotionally unstable and confused. In the long even though that she used Kira she still helped confort him.

I have mixed feelings about her now after reading those posts. I didn't like her b/c she used Kira mostly to make herself feel better (for those who saw the uncut version will understand what I'm saying).

Guys which is your favourite GUndam....mine has to be Destiny

I dont like destiny that much. Its design is mostly plain, and the only "eye catchy" feature (for me) is its pinkish wings (lol? is it pink or am i just color blind?) I still prefer ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom(GSD*yea its the main char's mobile so wut?! :P). But i also liked the Sheila Antares unit that Yzak piloted in GSD.
