what do you think of neo genesis evangelion? do you think it leaves a lot of questions unanswered or is it just me? what about the ending? did you like it?

If I am right there is a manga that carries off from where the anime ends. But I like evangelion personaly.

The ending to me is pretty sucks b/c I don't really get it... also I am collecting the manga and waiting for the next volume to come out

Well, the normal ending of the anime is pretty lame. It completely ignores the prospect of the Human Instrumentality Project...and in the end it completely clashes with "The End of Evangelion" and the Third Impact. So obviously, yeah, it leaves a lot of questions unanswered, because we never see the instrumentality happen at all. So we never even truly learn what it is, what it involves, why SEELE insists on it, or Rei's true purpose of existence.

If you just keep your mind open to some pretty strange possibilities, pay attention, and watch "The End of Evangelion" after the main series, most of the franchise still makes sense. There is still one major question in my mind though...which instrumentality scenario is which? Gendo's scenario was not the one SEELE instructed, but apparently the one that happened in the Third Impact wasn't Gendo's or SEELE's (since Rei defied him and did things her own way, by absorbing Adam and merging with Lilith). So what exactly did SEELE instruct? I guess we'll never really know.

Either way, the Third Impact happened, so whatever I guess.
