Pushed back Dates

Ok can someone tell me why anime especially the really good shows keep getting pushed back so much.. Im mean like the anime Karin, Black Lagoon, Kanon, and now Code Geass... It was suppose to be comming out in Jan of 09 now its been pushed back to March of 09. WTF!!!!!:pissed::mad:
