(okay, this is something I wrote awhile ago. Yes it is sad I know. What made me write something so sad. Well, in the Rp I am currently in (This happened awhile ago :oo: ) My character was attacked, but everything ended well and loving and all was happy. I decided to take that scene and tweak it a little for this short story. So instead of it ending happy, it ends like this, (Which I am glad it didnt happen like this) Well Enjoy. Oh! The song is called "Do I miss you." From the Tom and Jerry Film =] Enjoy! )
Count The Stars
Do I miss you?
Count the stars
Multiply by ten
Of course I do
More than now and then
A young girl sat in a cage, that was inside a building. The cage was cold, damp and lonely. It was dark, so dark that you couldn't even see shadows in the corner of the cage. The young girl sat there in the corner her head was down. Her face, cut and injured. Her eyes where pale and emotionless. They use to be blue. A lovely blue color that shinned with happiness. Now they were lonely, heart broken and emotionless nothing more than a gray color. Her hair use to be a shiny red color, that was silky, long and beautiful. How it was a dead red color. Her ears, dog like, where black-furred, they use to always be up, meaning she was happy now they were folded over. Her Black furred black tail was wrapped around herself. He was in pain, both physical and emotional. She use to have a lover, someone who would watch over her and protect her. They were married and happy together...Then one night someone forced himself onto her, her husband saw this thinking she was cheating on him, he dumped her out on the streets, with out a care in the world. It broke her heart, she was lonely now, then demon hunters found her and bought her to the place were she was now. She looked out the bared windows, her eyes tear filled and sad, tears rolled down her cheeks as she stared at the moon, counting the stars.
I could paint a rainbow
Shine the sky
Set the stars in space
Faster than explain
How much I miss your face
She turned around and looked down sighing sadly as she would remember those happy days. The days when her and her lover would cuddle. She remember all the memories. Painful, yet they were the only happiness she know now. One memory she recalled was when she first met her lover. They spend a night together on top of their house. That night they watched the stars, staring up into space where the millions of flashing diamonds dwelled. She recalled that a shooting star went by that night. She wished that someone you love her. She had finally gotten her wish. She looked down, her ears folding even more over as tears trickled down her cheeks hitting the cold floor.
“I miss you, my dearest...” She whispered though her tears.
Watch the moon
Someday soon
He will start to smile
When I say "I'll see you
In a while
She looked up in her cage, more tears fell down her cheeks, a light smile appeared on her face. She looked back at the moon and remember how happy she was when he would smile. When he would smile she felt so loved, so happy, it felt like someone had really cared for her. His smile was so warm, and caring, he promised they would always love and be together forever, But now that promise was broken and so she was. The first few months of her being alone, she though he would come back, but a while passed, and she learned...he didn't want anything to do with her anymore.
But 'til then I miss you
Dry my tears
Hide my fears away
Until that happy day
To the rainbow's end
Is where I would go, my friend
I do miss you so
She sighed and continued to look down as more tears fell. She was at the end of the road, no where to go in life, no one cared for her. Her love was always there to dry her tears, but now he would never dry them again. She laid down and wrapped her tail tail around herself. Tears fell onto her arms as she toke one last final look at the moon. Closing her eyes, she waited for eternity, waited for someone to say;
“I miss you too....”
