Best final fantasy ever made

I havent played a lot of them. I played Tactics, 3 and 10. So far I'm lovin Tactics. I cant wait till I buy A2 ^^

Finaly Fantasy VII is prolly the best Final Fantasy its not over rated, far from it the story, the history of each character, and the journey is just incredible. Now im not down talking any other FF game because i love them all, but you may say its over rated because it should actualy be rated that high. Hands down Finaly Fantasy VII is the best FF followed by Final Fantasy VIII, and Final Fantasy X

I would have to say FFVII is the best and my fav and Clould is the strongest FF hero in all the FF and VII has Tifa..... need I say more lol after that I liked FFX and FFX-2 alot =)

I've not played many of the FF games, just III, X, X-2 and XII.
I think I like XII the most though, probably because it's the one I've played the most, plus I like the graphics on that one the best. ^_^

ffvii is only appearing over rated because it's got the greatest franchise to it then any other ff game, and for good reason, the fan base for it is huge, and bigger in comparison to most other ff games. I'd likely say it's my favorite ff game, though tactics is an awesome play through. maybe ix too. They started to lose form after ps2 came along, but they're still enjoyable beyond compare.

My favorite is Final Fantasy VIII. Everything about it is so perfect, apart from the non-high definition graphics. I love the Gunblade in VIII, best weapon ever created. I think that the only bad thing in VIII is the fact that you can't train before a boss as the boss and other monsters level up with you. But it can also be a good thing I guess, because it makes you continue through the game.

Stopped playing after two expansions of 11. So cant say anything about 12 - 13. FF stopped after 10 for me.

Yeah, but the game that will hold you in its grip the longest must be 11.
If you're going to do everything in that game, you will spend allot of time in there.

Well, it's not just the time the game forces to you play it, it's also the impact of the game.

You could go with Final Fantasy 2 with a friend to the hero's going to the evil side, 5 (If I'm correct) where Cecil turns from the dark night into the hero of light and several hero deaths, Final Fantasy 7 which is infamous for the death of Aeris, 8 with it's expanded story and more realistic themes of love and conquest.

HOO BOY which is the best final fantasy that certainly is a hard decision, BBUUUTTTT i think i would have to go with number 8 with 6 been reli close, number 8 the story was just awesome and kept me going!

Hey an odd fact for everybody, did you know that when Square Soft (Enix now of course) were making final fantasy 1 they were going broke and it was suppose to be their "Final, Fantasy" game, i always found that very inspirational, I mean a company about to go under now their really really big, makes ya think dont it.

After playing most of the final fantasy games and owning all of the editions for ps1 and 2 my favourite has to be VII followed by VIII and X. I don't think FFVII is in anyway overrated, if you think of the time of when it came out, the graphics were pioneering, the depth of the story and characters was incredible and almost unheard of before in gaming. Its a shame that many other FF games (such as VIII and IX)are shunned to the shadows due to the vast fan base for FFVII but i definitely don't think it is in anyway overrated. :dance:

Well after playing several other final fantasy games, it really depends what mood I'm in. If I'm mad I'll play 12 and if I'm looking for more structure I go to 11. But then again I like to watch the movies.

Final Fantasy VII. Yes I just wrote the entire thing just emphasize my love towards it. i used to trade in games I beat for new games but this one never got traded in. It just never got old. The first Tactics game was very cool too. ^.^

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core.
If you have not played the original FFVII for PS or PC, I recommend you play this before crisis core or immediately after. Absolutely breath-taking storyline, soundtrack, graphics, ending, and gameplay. Very addictive and just plain fun. The storyline is so amazing I found myself almost in tears in parts of the story.
I liked VII, VIII and IX too :P
