It would depend on how they did it. If its done really really well, maybe. If not then I won't even attempt to watch it.

I'll have to strongly disagree.

But in relevance to the thread, I'd probably watch a Death Note movie if they changed the ending and kept it clever...

they may have just taken the name deathnote and the basic idea of there being a book that you write names in and then just completely added a whole new storyline, that is if they are doing an american version...but i agree with soulten if there was an article or something the idea of it may be more believeable
