anyone know of good ones that aren't on guitar hero. my brother plays it all the time(so do i, but it gets annoying) and i want some good hard rock that isn't from guitar hero, but i can jam to whenever

Try: Lollipop Lust Kill (they're the only hard rock band i like) the rest i like is metal... they only put out one cd before splitting up it's called "My So Called Knife" and it's actually good, imo.

Hard rock bands that aren't on GH games...well that's extremely vague.

Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Black Keys, Bad Company, Deep Purple, Humble Pie, Ted Nugent...the list goes on and on and on.

Actually, I think Deep Purple might have had "Smoke on the Water" in one GH game...oh well. And Ted Nugent will be in the next GH.
