Ok, if you won a million dollars, what would you do with the money.. No you can't tale over the world with just a million dollars. Seriously, what would you do with that kind of money.

Me, I would take probably 3/4 of that money and put it into money markets and just live off the interest. That would be about 1875.00 per month. The other 250,000 I would probably have a starter home build out in the country. That would be about 50,000 right there. Then I would just add on to that with the other 50,000 I would then set aside about 20,000 in a CD from that for my children for college. The CD would build interest for 18 years that way they can use that money for college and after college have money for themselves. I would buy 2 cars/trucks of my and my wifes choice. Me i would get a 4x4 heavy duty truck. SHe would probably get her a Corvett. That would be about 70,000 right off the back.. The rest of the money thats left which should be Mmmmmmm 60,000.. I would just put that into a savings account and use that when needed. I would probably resign from my full time position at the bank and work part time. I mean I dont want to be sitting at home even though I have all this money.. That would be boring. I have to be doing something to help pass the time by.

I wouldn't drop out of school and I wouldn't live extravagantly. I would continue to live each day as if I hadn't had a million dollars. I would rather use it for something useful than to keep it for myself to throw around.

I agree 100%. It would be nice to have that kind of money around and is smart to treat it as if you hadn't had all that extra money

Well said. It would take a fool to spend all of that and then wonder what happened to the money.

I wish I could say I'd invest, but with the economy's current state--that would likely be disadvantageous. I'll probably take care of some of my "future" essentials. Pay for college, get a place where I can see myself living--take steps from there.

I'd have to say I'd give at least half to charity(Why Me!). The remainding half i'd split put half in the bank and spend the rest to help out my parents and splurge a bit on whatever I wish to.

Well, I wouldn't do much with it until I was out of college, honestly. Just buy a nicer car, considering my current one is about to explode any day now.

Once I'm out of college, a lot of it would go toward my mom, so she can move back to California like she wants to. More of it would go toward my own house in California. It would likely be a little place near the water in the Monterey or Bodega areas, or something to that effect. Nothing huge...not like I want to bother cleaning a big house anyway.

The rest of it would just go toward living in general, I guess. Except for some set aside as a "safety net" and some more set aside for my eventual children. Then there's a retirement fund and insurances and stuff like that.

There'd be an awful lot left over, considering I would still work and make more money that way, but oh well.

if i won that money the first thing i would do is split it into a buch of diff bank accounts in diff banks. this is just in case a bank gose bankrupt or something, u wont lose all ur money. secondly i would take a least a thousand for each familly meember(in my 5 ppl family). i cant say what i would do but i know much of it would go for paying for college tuition for me and my 2 siblings(if we get that far). i know we would also use some to get out of what ever dabt we have. in simple words, the money would be spent wisely since the situation we are in doesnt really alow us(my family) to spend it on junk.

Realistically? Honestly? I would spend spend spend spend, every time thinking, "Oh I'll save some later and invest or something." Then before I knew it, it would be gone and I would be sitting there thinking, "Ok, how did this happen...I didn't spend that much in Vegas..."

A lot would be for my parents. Then I'd buy a little house in the woods away from people. But I wouldn't be there much because I'd travel a lot and learn languages. I love languages. Live quietly with the rest so I don't need a job.

I'd make a list of what i would do with that money.It's the following.

1# Buy a house for my future family. 200,000 Euro.
2# Buy a car. 50,000 Euro.
3# Invest money somewhere,so i'll make monthy profit of it. 500,000 Euro.
4# Spare some for my family. 100,000 Euro.
And what i would do with the rest 150,000 euro you ask? I'd propably help the poor people,and bad treated animals.

After i finish writing down that list,i'd grab it with my own hands,and throw it in the recycle bin.
Because to be honest..i'd invest all of that money so i'll be multi-millionaire some day.I'm still young,i dont need to buy anything expensive right now.I'd just focus on school..

I'd take one room of the house and turn it into a libary that looks all old and amazing and is stocked with every book by the authors i like and loads of manga, and get those cool ladders that slide up and down the shelves!!! Get a tv room that only displays anime and buy lots of beanie babies ^^
