An Old Song

[Tovarishch]

This is something I wrote a long time ago, back when I first met my wife.
I wrote it for her.
It was in Russian, but I have translated it into English for the sake of the readers here. However, I modified it some so that it would continue to have rhythm and rhyme.

Here it is:

Freefalling
Every time I see you, my heart skips a beat
You have me falling down on my knees
My head is dizzy and I can't think straight
You're on my mind, a habit I can't break

You make me feel like I'm freefalling
Out of the sky
I want to run away with you and fly, fly high
I want you to know what you are doing to me
Because I feel like I'm freefalling

Now, let me tell you something I just can't believe
Whenever I think about you, well, I just crazy
Don't get me wrong, I just thought of us as friends
But now that we are together, I can't pretend

There was a third verse, but I can't remember it. Maybe I'll post it later, if I have time and inclination.
