Your senators and what-not that are running for President, they didn't give a shit then, they don't give a shit now. Now that there is a bigger paycheck involved your a fucking saint? Give me a fucking break.

They keep feeding us the same shit. It's always about Iraq and taxes. Anytime we elect someone to office they always say that they are going to fix one or the two, or both. Yet, has anything really changed? As far as I can tell we keep digging ourselves into a bigger fucking hole.

They like to talk about peace. It's been proven that the most efficient way to maintain peace is through trading and communication with other countries, but instead we like to intervene for longer then we're actually welcome. Iraq was a mistake, people are dead, they're not coming back. There is no solution at this point, except to leave it alone.

We originally went over there to get one fucking man, not to kill innocents, and not to enforce our fucking beliefs on them, so once again, leave it the fuck alone. They now use the excuse that we're trying to establish a democracy over there. Honestly, at this point in time they can accomplish that on their own. We're now over there for oil, which once again jumps back to the bigger paycheck, it's all about monetary gain.

It's rant, I apologize about language and if I repeated myself at all, I'm irritated.

You can rant WITHOUT that much language, so you may want to go ahead and edit those out.

Besides that, this is all stuff that people knew 6 years ago. However we got too deeply involved so now we can't just get out that easily, no matter who says they'll get us out of the Middle East.

Point was, I'm tired of the empty promises by people who are just trying to move up in power for a bigger paycheck

Then you got it backwards. That's what Businessmen do. In politics it's a power upgrade, and sometimes a pay downgrade.

Wait... wait for it... Isn't that what being a politician has pretty much come down too? You sell yourself, and the people who buy find out 90% of what they liked about it was a lie? :O

That's called politics and economic problems.

Eh, too much of a negative view in my opinion. I don't know how we can really go by the situation of our past, considering we've had two terms of the same president. (Because not every president is bad, believe it or not). I don't really know how to tackle a view on an overall negativity towards politics as a whole. I mean, I can wrestle with a republican for hours, but when it comes to convincing what's good and bad on this "larger" scale, it's too much of a hassle. All I can say is to really wonder: are politics really deserving of such pessimism?

first off yeah i think we are winning the war in iraq, suddam is dead, they are on the road to democracy. yeah we went in there for the "wrong" reasons we thought there was WMD but there wasn't. he went in there to finish his dad's job. the media likes to show the bad side of thing instead of the good. yeah innocents dead, it's collateral damage, it's war, and people are going to die. now if we decided to ignore him would of we been attacked again? maybe or maybe not just be glad he is dead and don't need to worry about that.

yeah we should be concentrating on bin laden again but we have to finish what we start. we might be going to war with iran in the future no matter who will become president and iran posses as a threat along with korea.

Was Saddam put to death? Last I heard he was still on trial but that was awhile ago >.> and in regards to a war with Iran, I find it unlikely because we're never going to pull our troops out of Iraq. We'll do the same thing we did with Germany and Japan, we're going to setup a base and leave it there basically saying, "Try it, we'll jump your shit." :O

Guess that explains why I haven't heard anything else about that.

I'm pretty confident we'll be able to pull out of Iraq sooner than one might think. Also, I'm also hoping that a war with Iran can be avoided. But if they act on Israel, things can get hairy. Our economy is in trouble, and we don't need to continue funding wars while that's happening, that much I'm sure of.

The whole situtation is FUBAR. What America did in Irap, EPIC FAILURE. Plans for the future?? Our best is some really old troll looking veteran who can't seem to stop blinking, and a mutt that can't be trusted. ULTRA EPIC FAIL.

Actually Iraq wasn't even really involved in the whole attack America thing none of the terrorists involved were even from Iraq. Iraq was just near by and not armed nuclearly.
