Sorry it's yet another poem thread but this is the closest thing to creative writing that I have done so . . .
Why . . . . ?
Why does it have to be so difficult?
Why can’t we just sort it out?
It gets me so annoyed,
I wanna scream and shout.
Why do you haunt me so?
Why can’t you let me be?
I’m fine as I am,
I’m happy can’t you see.
You make my life so miserable;
Using me as the next “fad“,
When I’m with him I’m happy,
When I’m with you I’m sad.
You’ve caused me so much trouble;
You’ve caused me so much pain,
Why won’t you just stop it?
Please end this hateful chain.
I always keep my distance;
I stay so far away,
Yet I’m the one who gets hurt,
Each and every singly day
I found someone who loves me;
Who likes me for who I am,
Why don’t you get the hint,
And stop this shameful scam.
You’ve gone and tricked your girlfriend;
You’ve even tricked me,
But please just let it go,
Just let me be free.
I want to live my life;
An identity of my own,
I don’t want you around,
‘Cause I will never be alone.
He’s always by my side;
Threw everything and more,
I’m not a bloody play toy,
I’m not your dirty whore.
