Rock is my favorite. My favorite subgenres of rock are blues-rock, progressive rock, and pop-rock.

Favorite band is Led Zeppelin.

I also like down-tempo electronic stuff, particularly of the trance genre. Trip-hop is also great.

metal is my favorite style i like too many sub-genres of metal to list them, but lets just say i like all types of metal, except "Nu-Metal" (which isn't metal, but a mixture of a whole bunch of genres but primarily hard rock)

bands like slipknot, linkin park, disturbed, etc. would fit into a catagory of the type of "metal" i hate (it's too bad people actually cosider that stuff metal) i weap for humanity

and every once-and-a-while i enjoy some oldies (like elvis, buddy holly, etc.)

I find it sort of funny that you listed emo bands as rock bands and then put emo as its own category, as if emo wasn't part of rock or something.
