Punished

I wished it were but a dream,
but there was nothing to redeem
the crime that I had made
now my punishment will be paid.

With regret I will follow
to my throne of death and sorrow.
I will be cast into hell
the day before they ring the requiem bell.


Evil

I once was young and frightened
then my fear of darkness lightened.
The darkness has become my friend.
Now I shall follow it to the end.

I have forever sought to win,
so I was lead to the way of sin.
Now forever I will be trapped
by my loneliness and mishap.

All my life has turned to evil,
and for my soul there will be no retrieval.
All of the love has turned away.
Now for darkness there will be no day.

I truely enjoyed those two poems. Great work! Have you written anything recently? I noticed you said they were old works.

Unfortunately no. I have, however, been heavily contemplating getting back into it. The only problem is that I used dark emotions to write the other ones. I don't have those emotions anymore, so I'm going to have to find a new . . . "muse".
