Rainbow Lines

Hello, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask what's going on, but when I go to watch the movies that require divx, I see fuzzy rainbow lines. I've installed the latest software and restarted my computer. I can hear the movies, but I can't see them because there are rainbow lines fuzzing up the screen. Is there anything I can do, or should do? Thanks.

it sounds like it would be a problem w/ your display settings but for the life of me I don't know what settings exactly you should have, although someone should be by this post soon to give you an answer to that
