Once again more thinking of the past....

Lol anyway. Who here use to love pokemon games? For any system it doesn't matter at all. I loved them and I still love them because they are addicting to play. I remember my very first pokemon game I ever played was pokemon blue. My first pokemon was a charmander! I still remember everything about the games because I spend so long playing them. My all time favorite pokemon to train was Eevee or any of the evolutions! Sooo..:

What was your first game?
What was your first pokemon?
Do you still play the pokemon games?
Anything related to pokemon games, discuss here! ^.^

My first game was red.
The Pokemon was charmander.
I'm currently playing Leaf Green.

You know that old man that blocks your way? Yeah I had no idea how to get past him so I just fought the wild pokemon while waiting for him to move, I checked back few times but he still was there. So I continued fighting and getting charmander some exp and next thing you know I've evolved my charmander to a charmeleon. I thought I needed to evolve my charmander in order for the old man to move but he was still there. By that time I was like what the hell! So I continued to fight random pidgeys and rattatas.. and next thing you know I've gotten enough exp to evolve my charmeleon to a charizard. I was very excited because I had a freaking charizard! I'd expect the old man to have moved by now but he was still there.. by that time I thought that this game sucks so I went to the pokemart to buy pokeballs so I can catch a pidgey or something and the guy gave me a package and wouldn't let me buy pokeballs I was pissed off so I went to prof Oak to give him his damn package. I returned to Viridian city and went up and saw the old man had moved I was like fuck yeah! I went up and continued on my journey. The trainers and brock were easy to beat with my charizard. It was funny. So was misty she was easy to beat too.

My first was Pokemon Red.

My first Pokemon was Bulbasaur because my friend who also got the game picked Squirtle.

Yes, I still play them. I was just playing Pokemon Snap yesterday. Short game, but great while it lasts. And I'm still playing Pokemon Diamond all the time.

I started with yellow, so my first pokemon was pikachu. I played them all, but I like the old ones more. For those who are playing Diamond/Pearl we could give our friend codes.. even if the only time I played wi-fi was really laggy.

Wow, my first game was Yellow so I had that annoying pikachu. I traded him when I got the chance. He didn't wanna go but I didn't care I traded him and got him back. He was sooo mad. But I have Diamond, I'm gonna start over tonight. I'd be happy to send my friend code to anyone that wants it. Send me some kinda message and I'll give you ^^

My first Pokemon game was the Red Version and my first pokemon was Squirtle and the last pokemon game I played was the Diamond. Remembering playing the Red Version I used to multiply rare candy so many times that I got all my pokemon to the max lvl. Even for the Yellow I trade my Pikachu to my friend who also traded his Pikachu from his Yellow and it was pretty funny when we did that

Ah this brings back good memories of innocent youth, obsessive collection and thousands of dead batteries laying about my room. Ahhhh the good ol' days.
I can't remember how long it's been since i first played it but it's weird how i can remember most of the stuff better than what i did last week, like i always nicknamed them, that gary's eevee evolved into jolteon, how it took me days to find HM flash and how useless it was. pokemon yellow was my first pokemon game so pikachu was my first pokemon. first one i ever caught was a pigeotto in viridian forest and always used it from there on, so it could beat the elite four and gary on it's own. i still play the games every now and then to kill some time. i own yellow, red, pinball(i lost it though), trading card game, sliver, gold, crystal, sapphire, fire red and diamond (since my sister thinks they're to childish now and a mate gave me gold).
anyone who played it from the start also think they've gone to far with how many pokemon they've created now?

Yea there are a bit too many games for Pokemon. They actually made Pokemon Platinum after Diamond and Pearl but they haven't released it in the US yet. I'm not sure if they're gonna release it in the US anyway...

The old ones will forever be classics in my heart.

I like the newer ones because I like the graphics and the pokemon that move. I also like the pokemon contests.

Easier? You kidding me? They're longer, have more Pokemon, and there are so many Pokemon that have ridiculous requirements to get. Plus, there's more training involved, what with EV possibilities and the Elite Four using higher level Pokemon than ever before.

It's really just getting ridiculous.

This is so true. I'm playing Emerald and Diamond simultaneously. I re-started both at the same time but I've reached much further in Emerald than in Diamond. In Emerald I already have 3 badges while in Diamond I have just 1...
