Ok so you can type stuff in the little box but when you hit enter it won't post right? Because there is no actual post button you just have to hit enter after you finish typing. Just trying to clarify and make sure I understood you correctly.

Ahh...well in that case I prolly won't be much help. I don't have a PS3 so not really sure what would be the equivalent to the enter key for you.....unless it was like press X or something like that. Sorry that's about the only thing I can think of. If your lucky maybe someone else on the forum uses or at least has a PS3 and could tell ya what to do. Anyways sorry I wasn't much help and gl figuring it out!

Hmm, I guess there wouldn't really be an action button on the controller for this case, huh?
I don't think you'll be able to use the chat box without a keyboard.
And that must be a pain using a controller to type!

Sounds like the PS3 needs an enter key

you have no idea 1,000,000. you have an on screen keyboard that you use with the directional buttons. it seriously sucks. but im getting a wireless keyboard soon so i can use the chat box. its funny im spending $80 just to talk on this website. everyone knows im addicted to Anime Fuel. lol.
*ok is it just me or does the mini chat box on the main forum page reload everyones screen everytime someone puts something in it. im not trying to bug the staff but i cant even scroll to the bottom of the page because my screen refreshes literally every 10 seconds... ive timed it. is there anything i can do to fix this?
Well, I'm not sure there is. I will tell you this, however, the staff has been considering dropping the chat box altogether and replacing it with an IRC channel where everyone will be asked a series of anime related trivia questions, earning points in the room for every question answered correctly. The points wouldn't do much, just give you bragging rights I suppose. That is, unless we come up with some sort of reward. I don't know much more about it.

Click the dropdown arrow on the right of the chatbox to close it if you can. That should help.

ok thanks and Jack for like a reward for the trivia question thingy you could give away Anime Fuel gear or products. if we have those. coffee mugs or mouse pads and t shirts bumper stickers and such? what do you think, Jack?
It's a good idea, but probably not best for something like giving the correct answer to a trivia question. We'd be giving crud out like mad. Good idea though. Should Demon Fox, the guy with the bucks, decide to start a line of AF merchandise than we'll definitely start rewarding people with it somehow.

no i dont mean give it out like that i mean if were going to get points for it have a set amount for a prize like once you earn 50 points (answer 50 trivia questions correctly) you recieve a free mouse pad once you hit 100 points you recieve a free mug. ya know stuff like that not give something for every? does that make more sense?
Oh yeah, it sounds good. We'll discuss things over more and consider the possibility.

you will need a mouse to select the chat box to put the cursor in it. then you should be able to type in the chat box.

i can type in it it just wont go to the box. it wont send it
Is there any sort of instructional manual that came with it? Have you tried using the enter key next to the number pad? Have you attempted using the Insert button located directly above the arrow keys?
That's all that I've got so far.
