That's right, the long time anti videogame crusader has finally recived a sentence from his court case based on his issues and actions in the court room. Today, they have decided, that 30 days from now, Jack Thompson will be barred from ever practicing as a lawyer, and that he must pay $43,000 as reimbursment to the bar.. Today we must celebrate, for an unjust man has finally been taken down!
Jack Thompson is allowed a retrial though, so long as someone in the Florida Bar Accossiation submits the paper work.... and Jack Thompson did it for himself anyway.

And the court states any more problems that he causes can lead to an immediate disbarrment. I also think this second link says Jack Thompson will open his own bar. Not only that but he also filed a suit against the bar itself, in preparation of their ruling. We're gonna see what happens, but hope he fails miserably.

This is definitely something worth celebrating, I haven't had alcohol in about 2 years now but this seems like a great reason to change that. I hated this guy, I kept getting the urge to find him and beat him senseless with a controller, and then tell him that it was television that gave me violent tendencies.

Turns out it's true, Jack Thompson filed suit against the court that had his trial. He claims that the court was biased and conspiring to get rid of "An honest Christain Lawyer."
Does America's Funniest Home Video's still run? Maybe we can send in footage of his court case. We can win $10,000!!! But seriously, I do hope they repeal his lawsuit.

Well, time to sit in a dark room and pop pills while listening to repetitive music because I was influenced by Pac-Man.

October 1st, 2008. We won the battle, but now the new war begins

If you recall, I mentioned that Jack Thompson could recieve motion for a re-trial of his case in order to overturn the decision, but only if another judge were to file it. Turns out, he's not putting up with that. Oh no, he's gonna take this thing to the federal level!
It seems Jack Thompson really doesn't want to give up his status as a laywer, or ability to practice law. He's even claiming to be able to prove that the court that held his trial was un-just in their decision to dis-barr him.
Let round two begin.
