Seriously, if it's anybody's fault for keeping the idiot in office it's the people's. I'll admit, Bush has run this countries economy pretty much into the ground. I was personally against the war in Iraq as soon as it started, but I'm a complete supporter of our soldiers. Half of my family has been over to Iraq, and knowing that we may never hear from them again scares the living hell out of all of us. I'm happy our soldiers are starting to come home again, but some of them will never be able to really get back into a normal life because of what they've been through. I personally think that Iraq was a bad decision the governments part, and we are now paying the price for their mistakes.

The OP is completely misinterpreting the situation, as previously noted.

George Bush needed to inform the country about what exactly is happening. Even now, the situation is tremendously confusing--undoubtedly. But hearing this can at least set a base for understanding.
It was the logical thing to do, but the way he presented it didn't sit well with me. I believe the speech had too many dangerous words in there that would lead Americans to worrying. "Crisis". A family hears the president talking about "Crisis" in a speech, that doesn't end with anything productive.
And yes, this is far from Bush's problem alone. Maybe if you paid attention to the actual speech, you'd realize that much.
