That's kind of a loaded question, too many ppl, w/ too many opinions, you're going to get a lot of answers on this ranging from Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, FMP, GITS: SAC, FMA, Inuyasha, etc... best bet is to go through the forums checking out recommendations other ppl have already posted and also look up the discussions to see what ppl liked and disliked about different animes and then start watching whatever catches your eye, we're sure that you'll find at least a few things to your liking

Yeah I agree with Corwin here you are going to get a lot of different opinions, if you like mecha then you should defiantly check out Gundam Wing and Gundam 00, If you are into romance then go with Inyuasha (I have no idea how to spell his name), etc.

I don't think he's asking for recommended animes, but rather what is your favorite anime

If that's the case i'm going to say bleach. Some will argue that it's childish. But I think it has a good balance of drama, comedy and action
