i haven't seen anything in an anime that has grossed me out yet... but then again i watch death matches(no one actually dies, they just beat the living crap outta eachother with barbwire and otehr painful lookn' stuff) so its not all that surprising that animated gore wouldn't bother me, when actual gore doesn't bother me... unlesss it's pics of my face when the dog bit me. that just brings back bad memories, so i cannot look at them.there's just something abut seeing the aftermath of your own flesh ripped open to where oyu required 60 stitches, it is quite disturbing :( they won't even show me the pics of what it looked like before they stitched me up.

ANYWAY; usuallly things that most people find "gross" i'd find cool. like the one poster referring to someone ripping a bone out of his arm. i think that'd be cool to see in an anime. just me though.

oh, and this is my first post here, i hope i enjoy my stay :)

The closes to disgusting for me in manga was in GOTH chapter 2, where they found the corpse of this girl all messed up. Her organs were everywhere.

anime, hmm...when eva 2's torn to bits. that was kinda gross, and the other evas eat it...when tetsuo's guts spill on the ground and he's trying to pick them up and put them back inside. that's from akira, but I remember it being gross when I was a kid.

I think Full-metal as some pretty gross scenes of exploded humans with their brain juice and blood all splattered 'artistically'... Claymore too and omg.. my memories failing.. I remembered some animes with chopped arms and limbs flying around..
