Some of the ads don't seem age appropriate with most of the members I've seen here >.>

The only ads that bother me are the ones that DING! DING! DING! while I'm trying to watch something, and the ones that say CONGRATULATIONS! Though, I refresh the page and it usually solves the problem. Other than that, I have no issue with them.

If anything, you can just turn the sound off. You only need to worry about sound in the arcade or watching anime

I AGREE.

Ever think that maybe there might be little "kiddies" running around the computer? Not only do they need to not see that, but niether do I. Not to mention those of us who still have what they call PARENTS.

*Scornful look*

I had one scare me, I browsing some anime then all of a sudden I heard "Hi. I'm Amber, wanna chat". That's just wrong.

Yeah, the not too young ones can get used to it, but like I have seen that there are people of all ages here, is totally not proper for some them.

I just tried some honest, smart witty chat up lines.

"I'm trying to imagine you naked".

I think you all are whining about nothing, let's face it, it's an ad, we need those ads to keep the site running, if you don't like the content of the ads, complain to the ad provider, not us, as for the problem w/ children using the site or those of you who still have that thing called parents, fyi, ur still kids too, but that's your problem, if a parent doesn't want their children seeing something like this then they can monitor their child's internet access 24/7 or ban every site that might have offensive material in any shape or form. Also, talking about potentially offensive ads on an anime site where they revel in the concept of 30yr old men sleeping w/ 15yr old girls as a normal part of a plot line, excessive nudity, gratuitous blood and violence, it seems kind of like ur crying over a little problem and completely ignoring an obviously larger version of the same issue b/c to complain about that one would affect your viewing possibilities

I don't think alot of people really mind the ads Corwin, it's just that a few of them are consistantly annoying and distracting from the experience, namely the ones that talk, or the seizure inducing ad that tells you that you've won while vibrating like a dildo on a table (Quote from a Screwattack video) and constantly pinging.

It's not a choice to have an ad with near naked girls bouncing around on the top of your screen. I suppose you can argue that it's a choice to come to this site at all, but do you really want traffic decreasing because of it?

Anyways, I was just making a point that some parents might let their kids come to this site because in all outward appearances it's clean, and now all of a sudden there's porn looking ads jumping around.

I don't mean to bitch, but you seem way too defensive about this.

That would be why I responded to the people complaining about them, not everyone in general, and personally I avoid the ads by turning my desktop's volume off until I'm rdy to start watching a vid at which point the ads aren't bothersome if they ever were.

**And as I was saying Viddus, we don't pick the ads, if you've got a problem with it, take it up w/ the ad providers, we just post the script that allows that to display ads from their directory.

The ones that really scare me are the "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE JUST WON A FREE NINTENDO WII!"

o_o They're so loud.
