I was in the 5th grade, just doing my work, and the pricipal came on over the intercom and told us to turn on the tv. When we did, I saw a tower on fire, then a few minutes later BAM, another plane hit the other tower and the Pentagon.

This was the day I decided to join the military.

I was eating breakfast in the living room. when I saw a plane hit the tower I honestly thought it was just some stupid person who can't fly. lol but after watching the second hit and the towers fall a sense of fear came over me. I thought we were gonna get invaded.

I was in class. Just a little lad at the time. The principal came onto the intercom like were you were, and did the exact same, told us to turn on the T.V. I remember that most everyone was terrified, some saying under their breath about their family being either in the towers or close, some sobbing and all.

I was in fifth grade. I don't really remember the principal or teacher announcing it and I know that the television wasn't turned on. Instead, my teacher made us sit in a circle and pray for whoever was inside. I remember being terrified, though I didn't really understand what was happening, and then I watched the news when I got home.

I was also in the 5th grade, probably in the middle of a lesson. There used to be a broadcast every morning showing world events and it came on twice that day at totally different times replaying what happened. We were so scary back then that we hid under our desks crying because we thought something could land on our school at anytime.

I had recently stepped into the classroom. (4th grade). Everyone was gathered around the class' computer. I saw the video being streamed from there and I never really fathomed and studied the happening until a couple of years afterwards.

I was on my way to school. I had taken a short cut through that back side of a market place which led out to a side street. At the corner of the side street there was a small clinic. I was listening to the radio at the time, and the music stopped and the dj started talking about what was going on. I stopped right in front of the clinic listening to the radio in stunned silence. Then I looked at the clinic and there was a tv visible from the window and on it the whole scene was going on. I sat there for about 20 minutes watching it unfold.

I was in my 5th grade class. The intercome had announced that there was an important event happening and told all the teachers to turn on the tv to a specific channel. Everyone gathered around the T.V. while I just sat in my seat head on hand about to go to sleep. I then hear these kids gasp and scream so I started to laugh like they had pulled a prank on them or something. But when I saw what it was I wasnt terrified persay, actually more like I was in a short of unweeryness of whether to be sad or mad. Now that so many years have passed im actually happy, NO not because the twin towers had fell, but because the fact that that one incident opened my eyes to how truly extroardinary or world and how people must fight for their own freedom whether its the way they want to fight or not. You can call me a sick freak, or even mentally ill, but all in all im actually happy that the event had occured.

I was in the middle of my precious sleep when my aunt called to my house to tell me to turn on the TV because something really bad had happened in New York, I was half asleep when I turned it on. And well, I clearly saw when the second plane crashed onto the second tower, I was very confused. I realized what happened after I saw the news. RIP

It makes me extremely sad and angry everytime I watch those Towers fall. What they did was unforgivable, and I believe we made the right choice and go to war. To tell the truth, I think we shouldve carpet-bombed the entire country and the neighboring countries from the start of the war. It wouldve save so many American, British, and other allied lives, yes, at the expense of a mass genocide of a few nations. But they deserved no mercy, just as they didnt heed the calls of mercy from the airline passengers. Im glad Im going to war, Im not afraid, and if I die there Im going to take them with me. Call me evil, call me whatever you want, but this is what I believe. America has gotten too soft, and the 'Axis of Evil' is taking advantage of that.

I can say a whole lot more, but I may get in trouble. So yeah...

I was sleeping (lived on west coast, so it was early). My mom woke me up saying that two planes just crashed into buildings in New York. We watched the news in their bedroom until we had to go to school. I was in seventh grade. A lot of the students hadn't heard about it yet. Everyone was pretty scared and kept expecting more attacks I remember. The entire day at school, all the teachers did was turn on the news to watch it and see if anything new had happened.

I was a high school student, I just came back home... and as most of the people... -watched it on TV. At first I thought that was an "action movie" or some "manipulated pictures," but then I realized it was live on news.... The moment I saw people jumping off the windows I understood how horrifying it was..... Couldn't believe it was happening for real. Next day everyone was talking about it in school. We had a moment of silence and such... Everyone was was truly moved. No one understood why did that happen.

Lets see I remember being in class, history to be exact. We were reading or something when the intercom turned on and had us turn the projectors on to watch.. after a moment of silence as well. It was horrible to think about any of it.. but then it stared stiring up so many theories of what had happened, some think it to be the panes and other bombs.. we had a huge discussion on it later on.. few years later 11th grade in history.

I was in my 5th grade French class- Everyone noticed that our teacher was not there. He then walked in crying and we found out his pregnant wife was on a plane that crashed into the towers. She of course didnt survive, I don't think anyone will ever forget that day.

the rumours were so fucked up though.
everyone said a bomb exploded down the street from us,
because word totally gets misconstrued in middle school.

:/
and then i came home, since they let us out early.
and i saw the images. i can't say i was really fazed, because i was still a child.
but now i'm kind of horrified. i don't know.

I was in my high school English class. The TV was on almost the entire time. People started crying. I was wondering if my family in that area was ok. It was pretty shocking at first. Also, my high school immediately said they have counselors if people need them. After that, no one went to class, and they basically called the day off.
