Why haven't they put .hack on PS3?

i think it would be a great idea, past . hack games were a success without online playing, now imagine that with the PS3's online capabilities, you'd be able to do a lot more things, i know they tried something like that with .hack//fragment, but online gaming wasn't very common back there, and the game was for PC, now most games have online features, and with the PS3 capabilities, they could probably make an actual "The World".

Simply put, no one wants to put the game on the ps3. The main idea of the games were to tell a story, and that's already been done. In this, there is no need to make a new game based on the series.
