The Jonas Brothers?

Could someone tell me what is so great about the Jonas Brothers? I really gave them a chance, I honestly did. I listened to multiple songs, and even tried to watch Camp Rock...

But I just don't like them. Apparently, I'm the only one who thinks so. I see T-shirts, girls of all ages fawning for them, and hear their music blaring in cars.

I grew up around the old rock music, so i just can't listen to chords for three minutes.

So...
Can anyone tell me why The Jonas Brothers are that great?

hmmm i actually do like the jonas brothers ... but not like those girls that wear t~shirts with jonas brothers on them or scream out for them wen they're on TV ... but they're songs aren't bad (for me) and they're cute too lol ^^ ... this is just my opinion ... no arguements for me liking them ^^ ...

You can't just listen to chords for three minutes, yet you grew up on "old rock music?" Do you even realize what you're listening to? I can understand if all you listened to was pompous avant-garde stuff and progressive stuff, but considering you said "old rock music," I'm assuming you meant rock in general that's become aged.

In which case, you've been listening to a hell of a lot of very, very simple chord progressions, power chord arrangements, etc. Chords are more important than you think, and your most "avant-garde" guitarists would be nothing without them.

Take America's classic hit, "Horse With No Name" for example. Consists almost entirely of one chord. Most of the notes are blank, even, or just dead (muted).

the Jonas Brothers are being promoted by Disney, therefore it probably means that they use voice enhancers. That I can't stand. All those fake people using their voice enhancers while the people with real vocal talent remain unknown :mad:

They try to cover other great songs too, and they fail at that.
Honestly i think they are all ugly, its mostly their personalities that are rotten and make them that way.
Their music is lame and doesnt deserve to be called "great" by anyone.
They cant really sing, or probably even play the instruments that well at all, studio probably helps them out.
