Many of you have probably noticed that a good bit of the videos from Megavideo are coming up with the message "Video Temporarily Unavailable" and they stay like that for a while. The problem isn't the videos, it seems to be something with the embeds.
If you get a message saying "Video Temporarily Unavailable" or "Connection "Problem", REFRESH your browser. Then click anywhere in the video player except for the play button. This will take you to the actual video on MegaVideo. You can watch it from here, and do full screen.
Do this before reporting any more Megavideo links!

It also seems that you can not watch more than ten videos on that site if you do not download their tool bar. Or at least, that's what it told me.
No Death Note for me, then!

what... this is incorrect. You don't need their toolbar to watch videos.

Nope, I clicked the video on to the megavideo site and it said that:
"Too many video views from your IP.
You have viewed more than 10 videos today. Try again tomorrow or click here to order your premium membership and get unlimited access! You can also double your amount of video views per video for free by installing the Mega Toolbar."
Copy and pasted, only with my IP edited out. It's only after 10 videos though. I have watched 10 episodes of Death Note and can not watch any more until tomorrow.
Just thought that people would want to know.

Well, it's no big deal really. I can stand only watching 2.5 hrs of anime a day.

Maybe that's only the case when you watch them off their site. They can tell your ip address anyway when you go on the site anyway, but here they can't read any of us.
every vid should be on proper steam, megavedeo is best imo..cause veoh just dont works in Latva anymore..im missing quita lot animes this way :(
i want em on other steams please! i HATE veoh!!!!!!!

I have no idea what you are talking about because I have never come across or even heard of this issue. Ever.
(Well.......... I do indeed know that you are only allowed to have a certain number if videos views on MEGAROTIC... but that is someplace entirely different, and I won't get into that.)
I've refreshed my browser so I don't need to complain. =\

@ Koopa: Must be a new thing. I did as you said, watched 10 videos and could not watch 11. That's pretty much it.
I only wanted to say that because some other people who might not be able to view the videos on this site, might want to know before they attempt to go on a marathon anime view-age and find that they can not. (As was my case. Other sites do not have the episodes or have parts of them missing.)
And, yes, I did refresh. More than 5 times.

In my opinion. We should all start uploading to Imeem or Veoh. There both reliable sites, and the speed at which the video loads is much faster then megavideo.
EDIT: Only non members and members that are not premium have a restriction on how many minutes of video they can watch.

They don't have all the same videos. But if people were to start uploading to different sites then megavideo that could change. It would take a lot of time to do so tho. Just like the stage6 problem. It gives me nightmares just thinking about it. hehe.

no DemonFox can't tell them that, he doesn't dictate policy on megavideo, he can only affect changes on this site, as for all these supposed users who might quit b/c they can't watch 2 series, who is saying that, how many ppl exactly? Also if we switch to veoh we just run into the problem of all those regions that are blocked by veoh. I haven't had a problem with mega by the way, I watch 3-4 hours in a row, no time limit, I think I figured out a way around it, it wasn't that hard to find, just think about it and for god's sake ppl, stop complaining, we provide a service, we don't make policy for the streaming host sites.

Now I have heard that this 62 min thing and 10 vid max thing on megavideo has been going on for some time, this weekend I did an anime marathon, watching more than 62mins of videos from megavideo w/o being cut of or follow any tips, weird... , well I did open hmm was it several tabs loading the video first , but had no need for unplugging the internet or downloading toolbar,BTW that was not on megavideo homepage....
Eww 10 vids a day, must be a joke, Megavideo can flush there 10 reasons to use us shit down the drain now making this crap.
I hope they will realise Their mistake and fast dropping on visits to their website and undo this stupid crap...

Rincewind, I wasn't saying that you had to dl the toolbar, from what I've noticed, I can run a marathon session of anime by opening a dozen tabs at once, then loading them either all at the same time or one at a time but loading them all before I start watching, but I have had one experience where watching a movie after letting it load(don't remember if I let it load all the way) that it cut out after 48min saying that I had watched 62min(apparently when ur paused after starting the video once, it continues counting time) but, that was during the day and my anime marathons were at night, which weren't peak usage hours which I think is something that affects it, I was just offering the dl toolbar b/c u can load vids all you want if you never hit play, so I dl'd a bunch of stuff yesterday afternoon to watch today so I wouldn't have to worry about a time limit and could just run them through a playlist in a vid player

I have the same problem as carolyn07. Somehow I ended up watching 3000 plus minutes of megavideo today when I haven't watched any megavideo for like a week?
