So if any of you Americans are actually following whats going on, presidential hopeful John McCain chose his VP nominee. He chose the Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin. That's right folks McCain has chosen a female for VP. Some are saying he did this to wipe out Obama's great speech yesterday. Others are saying he chose her to bring in the female voters. So if any of you are interesting in whats going on in YOUR country, respond!! Pick your brain and tell me what you think about this.

I think it was a good choice for him to make, albeit risky. I think he really needed some young blood on the campaign's face.

He's just doing this to get the female votes. But who cares, hes not going to win. No one wants 4 more years of Bush. **** the Republicans, they screwed up this country big time. So, Im voting for Obama. To tell the thruth, Obama isnt that good of a nomine, but he is the lesser of two evils.

IMHO, he picked a very nice VP. We (friends of mine and myself) were even talking about this yesterday while we ate, and we all agreed that Sarah was a VERY nice choice. Now, I have never personally heard either of those reasons since I don't read crap like that, I avoid it. Obama has screwed up big time, and he's done. I mean DONE. He has very little chance of winning. For those wondering, no, I don't like McCain either, but his VP is better.

And I understand that as your opinion, but I hold a bit of respect for you, so I'll have to insist on pushing.
You have to consider this is a tight political race. If it was "Done" then the media would be shouting it every hour. But the truth it, things can go either way. (When I saw the news this morning it showed Barack ahead in the race but I won't pay much attention to it considering Republicans tend to vote late.)
The blunt truth is that there's a tough road ahead, I'll hope you have enough respect for an entire political party to admit that.

American politics don't really concern me seeing as i'm in Britan. But I do have to say, it might be a good idea for a women VP because she's not in complete power but she's there to help organize and control things. I don't know anything about this Sarah, but I think someone that is a women would make a good VP, but of course, that depends on who it is.

Well the way I see it I don't want to choose for McCain, cause like someone said, it's another four years of another Bush. I don't want to choose for Obama cause he's just going to tax the living daylights out of us middle class, hoping it would fix everything. What it's going to come down to are the debates and Obama Biden combo is going to destroy McCain Sarah.

Huh? I'm sorry, but I think you're mistaken. Obama is increasing taxes on the "upper" class, like my father. (Although he's still a stolid supporter of Obama)
"The rich would pay more under Barack Obama's tax plan, and the poor and middle-class would pay less, a nonpartisan analysis finds. Under John McCain's plan, the rich would pay much less than they do now, the poor and middle-class would pay a bit less, and the federal deficit would grow, the study found."

no he's taxing everyone and everything on water, food, energy, and well everything else. i laugh when the Democrats are saying that Palin doesn't have the experience. she has had a hell a lot more experience than Barrack Hussian Obama Jr. 6 years as a mayor and another 2 years as a governor. the Democrats know this and they are scared shit-less they know they are going to lose. Democrats mostly the media are going as low to start picking on her family saying she should of aborted her special needs son, picking on her daughter because she's pregnant, saying her husband has tried a certain drug, saying she isn't a good mother because her 17 year old daughter is pregnant. you know what Obama has been away from his family for sometime, he has said he has tried a certain illegal drug, he doesn't have the experience, he's a flip-flop, his connections to certain few idiots, and yet the media ignores those facts. if you watched the GOP convention and right after that a report from MSNBC Ron Allen questioned Newt Gingrich about Palin's experience and Gingrich pwned the guy and he asked hm tell me what has Obama done....the guy was silent as a grave for a few seconds and said he didn't want to argue. i rather have McCain and Palin who has more experience. Which brings me to my next point about her she has more experience then the two (Obama and Biden) combined!
McCain is a war hero, he's fought against the morons wanting him to appeal to them and not the people. That was a smart choice of waiting for the Dems Convention to end and announce his VP pick. Yes he did choose Palin to gain more women voters and hell probably some Democrat voters. We do need off shore drilling so we can get away from foreign oil, and so the big brains can work on new sources of energy. Obama:dead: McCain::D:

You know I love the idea of having younger blood up there but the way they are making her look because of her daughter is aweful. Yes she got pregnant at a young age and they could acess "the father's myspace" and find out whatever they wanted to about him but still. They are trying to make her look bad and I don't agree because right now I think regardless of the oldness of McCain she will be the best for the country.

It's a bit of a headache how much you're trying to victimize the Republicans, here. Please don't start on going low, it's not as if the media isn't practically "swimming" In Obama gossip.
"Obama: High-income taxpayers would pay more in taxes, while everyone else's tax bill would be reduced. Those who benefit the most - in terms of reducing their taxes as a percentage of after-tax income - are in the lowest income groups.
Under both plans, all American taxpayers could pay a price for their tax cuts: a bigger deficit. The Tax Policy Center estimates that over 10 years, McCain's tax proposals could increase the national debt by as much as $4.5 trillion with interest, while Obama's could add as much as $3.3 trillion."

i'm not they are picking on Palin that is low b/c she is a republican and she's actually on a ticket.. like i said before Obama will raise taxes on everything he will raise it on the middle class. McCain will cut taxes. So what if it also helps the rich most of them have worked their butts off to gain their money some of inherited. my both my grandfathers are wealthy one keeps his money in the bank while the other one does buy stuff but both of them give it to charity....point is the wealthy even with a tax increase can still pay it off while the middle and lower class can't. why do you want someone who will put health care into the governments hands? why do you want Obama to be president when he has said about the current Georgia vs Russia conflict that both sides are at fault when Russia started this mess. we are winning the war in iraq and obama wants our country to stick it's tail in between it's legs and back off before the job can be finish, and why the hell do you want him to be president when him and his running mate hasn't had any experience. now riddle me this what has obama and his running mate biden ever done instead of writing memiors however you spell it? also i have heard more people picking on Palin more than Obama. and whoever replies better answer my question b/c i really like to know. if you can't that just proves my point no one doesn't know.

I'm not going to write much here, as I don't follow drama too enthusiastically, but to put it short about Palin, she's a big fish in a small pond. She was mayor of a 7000 person town (big fn whoop), governor of alaska (again, not too fancy), and has a downright average personal life that everyone's pried into and spilt on the floor. When you write everything she's done down on paper, ya it looks long and interesting, but it's a drop in the bucket compared to the giant leap she's going to have to make if she becomes a VP.
she's a very good decoy to garner votes. period.
Obama's alright, and the best I can say in defense of his track record is that he does have one, it spans years through the senate in illinois (rather impressive), and his 'writings' are for the benefit of the people of your country and not that of the advancement of his career. I notice that type of movement moreso from your republican candidates....
plus mccain is a crazy old man.
end communication.

Look, if you're going to emotionalize your entire argument, I would begin to doubt bothering with you.
Your grandfathers are wealthy men who give to charity. Alright, so by your logic, "all" of the upper class are just like them and do their part for society. And if you mean that they aren't, you're saying your grandparents and the fraction of others are good enough for the U.S. as a whole.
You keep shouting about Obama raising taxes on the middle class when I've already given information that he isn't. I guess I have to throw more at you.
"Under his plan - which would be the largest tax hike in at least a decade - the 6.2 percent payroll tax would be applied to the entire income of workers making $250,000 or more a year."
Honestly, if I'm telling you one thing from all of these sources and you just close your eyes and yell, there's not really anything I can do. So please, if you insist on spreading immature lies, I won't bother.

alright but you never answered my question dolly what has he done as a senator?....no i wasn't implying that all the wealthy gives their money to charity some do some don't. call 700 WLW and talk to will cunningham if you want facts that guy has a lot of them. one more thing you imply i'm sitting at my keyboard ferouciously typing your so called lies. well i'm sorry to disappoint.
John McCain believes we must make a farsighted, robust, and fervent commitment to innovation and new technologies to sustain our global competitiveness, meet our national security challenges, achieve less costly and more effective health care, reduce dangerous dependence on foreign sources of oil, and raise the quality of education in the United States. John McCain has been a leader in keeping the Internet free of taxes. As President, he will seek a permanent ban on taxes that threaten this engine of economic growth and prosperity.
Cut The Corporate Tax Rate From 35 To 25 Percent
Will keep the top tax rate at 35 percent, maintain the 15 percent rates on dividends and capital gains, and phase-out the Alternative Minimum Tax. Small businesses are the heart of job growth; raising taxes on them hurts every worker.
"In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change."

But getting to your question, what has he done as a senator?
"According to the Illinois archive papers.

Republicans speaking out for him.
He's provided health care. He's aided in cleaning up
the ghetto's and slum area's of Illinois. Up until the fall
of the real estate market. He for years donated his time
to poor people legally and not just
minorities, he aided Caucasians also. This is why he
was elected. He appealed to all races in that State."
"-Obama passed legislation with Republican Senator Jim Talent to give gas stations a tax credit for installing E85 ethanol refueling pumps. The tax credit covers 30 percent of the costs of switching one or more traditional petroleum pumps to E85, which is an 85 percent ethanol/15 percent gasoline blend."
"-After a number of inmates on death row were found innocent, Senator Obama worked with law enforcement officials to require the videotaping of interrogations and confessions in all capital cases."
"-His first law was passed with Republican Tom Coburn, a measure to rebuild trust in government by allowing every American to go online and see how and where every dime of their tax dollars is spent."
"-Obama created the Illinois Earned Income Tax Credit for low-income working families in 2000 and successfully sponsored a measure to make the credit permanent in 2003. The law offered about $105 million in tax relief over three years."
I could go on...Please understand both sides of the coin, you're obviously not an idiot.
