Who do you think ruined Light's plan?

I would say Misa since she got caught by L and thanks to the following events the Death Note had to be discovered.

I dont think it was a question of who - the whole concept was doomed from the off, it was moral/social/ideological folly from the start.

Also, on a long enough time scale, im sure someone would have just taken Light out. THe beautiful thing about natural mechanism is that (bar a few exceptions) most of what is flawed will be eliminated.

LoL i thought i was the only one...
Light became dependent on other people while forming emotional connections with all the characters. When i say emotional i mean he made it personal(thinking of L really) and lost focus of his main goal. At the start of the show you can see how sure of himself he is while forming numerous plots. But he let his opposers into his mind thus enableling them to predict his movements. In the end Light went mad with power...an insane dream often times leads to insanity.

Eh, I can agree on Mikami, but I think Light really messed himself over in the end too.
