They are cute :) I like to draw fantasy pics like you too ^^ It's verry good as a beggining. Practice a lot ;) Copy from other pictures by looking at them (freehand drawing). I do the same thing.

Thanks! The first one was actually free drawn(well the both were but) from a picture on a manga book. I have heard from my friend and a few other people to contiously draw the same character in different positions and such.. so I'm still working on it, but I do appreciate the comments and help :)

Lol not long.. I have been drawing for a while but have never been any good unless I really take my time on it.. but even then I seem to be a perfectionist. Nice to meet you by the way xD
Yes.. I tend to be an anime/manga fanatic around my friends and they look at me strangly.. aka reading the books backwards.. but really forwards. One of my teachers noticed I was reading one before and said she tried it once. it was funny.

My teachers have caught me reading them to but the one teacher that showed any interest in it was my english teachr.
Next thing you know she tried talking to me about it !?
it was kind of wierd
she even wanted to read some of mine :0

also, good drawings inulove! I'm sure as you practice more you'll get even better at it, too. You might want to practice/learn some shading techniques, too.
Wow, your drawings are amazing.

Thanks guys, I know shading was always a challenge for me and I just didn't want to but I think I will practice up on that as well.

See black and white to me means shading... lol yes that makes me lazy I know I know.. but I like the colored better sometimes.
... who said anything about dead people in pics such as these? ... nope pretty sure it would ruin them.

np tomboychic.
I have drawn some, but they're mainly just sketches. I don't trust myself to use pen just yet for shading and I don't do well with color, so I stick to pencil. Plus, I tend to do it when I'm bored (like in class) so most of mine are doodles on my notes. It's been awhile since I've sat down and tried to seriously draw something in this style. I've been working on more realistic pieces most recently.

Hmm, well, your post is easily mistaken for "coloring" in general. Sorry for the misinterpretation. But still, some things just don't come as easy to others. I'm pretty sure you understand that.

I agree with you on that. But, my point is coloring with color pencils/crayons/pastel isn't that hard.

depends on if you're talking doodling or what. my notes tend to be faces...although I try bodies sometimes, too. I like to draw eyes. for larger, whole pieces, though...it just depends. i've done portraits and self-portraits (busts/faces...I have difficulty with limbs...) before as well as still-life (pencil). I usually end-up drawing still-life. I like using pastels for scenery, though, and I'm practicing animals in motion. I pretty much draw whatever I feel like drawing at the moment.

I also like to draw gothic people and some dead ;D

I have been drawing for quite a few years but only drew anime for one year when I was 15, I don't know why but I just suddenly decided that I didn't want to draw anymore so now I just design tats. In my images I felt drawn to keep with my old ways and kept them in my style of only black and white. Therefore only black pen and pencil on printer paper.
Let me know if you like any of my sketches. They consist of 4 pics of Chii from Chobits (yeah I really liked her), Chihiro from Spirited Away, Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo and Kyo/Tohru (love and tragety), all the rest are character that I made up, oh yeah and randomly making Sesshoumaru a father lol.
To take a look go to this link:

If I ever start to draw again i will let you all know and post them up in my album.
THANKS, and let me know what ya think.
P.S Excuss the one pic sorry some near nudity in the "Angel of Mercy" lol, my bad.

I have been drawing since I was 5 yrs old but that was realistic drawings, then when I turned 10 I did landscaping & watercolour and from there on out i did random works but I have been watching anime for so long i just thought why not draw it so I did for a while then I just stopped and changed my style again. ^_^ Keeps life interesting. Haven't drawn anymore anime since I was 16 :( ...Though I do really love sketching up random anime eye expressions they are my fav thing to draw be sides wings and bodies. Do you have a fav thing to draw?

I know exactly what your mean, it has to be the way you see it or it is not enough to show. For me I get so bad sometimes that I can't finish a piece and have to put it away then I find it like 3 months later and randomly get inspired to finish it. I wonder what I should draw, I might just sketch something out but when and how with work and school ~_~ hmmm. We shall have to see!

*Nods* yup... I do that as well.. it's odd sometimes but leaving something alone for a bit.. it's like after a while it calls to you and then you are inspired to finish it with more fire than you started with. *sighs* sometimes being busy constantly isn't fun though.
