Well, if you like her that much and you want to take it a step further, just ask her how she feels about you. Normally, I'd say to start talking to her casually. Little flirtations can end up being quite obvious unless she's an idiot. But the important thing is to be yourself, don't rush things and do something you'd regret. You say she's your friend, so I'll assume just "Talking" to her won't be so difficult.

The only reason I'm telling you to make sure you feel for her is because if things went wrong, it's pretty likely you'd end up breaking a friendship.

don't get geared up to blurt out something stupid the first day you see her. hang out with her the first day maybe, and you'll be good to gauge how much she likes having you around. this is one of those situations where if you read the manual (girl in this case) before you dive in and start readjusting things you'll likely come out with something manageable. whereas if you don't you'll end up with a piece of crap you wouldn't dare show off to your friends and family.
