What are the books you are currently reading?
I am reading Namesake for school and it is really boring because it is a sentimental book, but besides that I am trying to get my hands on The Call of Cthulhu.

you might dig a book called the tree of life by roger cook.
here's some quotedness on it:
"Appearing in an infinite variety of forms in the symbolism of the great world religions and in mythology and folklore, the Tree of Life is a universal symbol for the inner direction of the cosmic process and its goal; the centeredness and unity of man and his world. Revealing the living presence of a transcendent power which man has perennially both feared and adored, the sacred tree embodies in its seasonal transformation the perpetual renewal of the cosmos from a sacred source at the 'center of the world.' "

The Good Earth, huh? I read that book a few years ago for school. It was pretty interesting.
At the moment, my classes are so insane the only thing I read beside manga are my biochem., organic chem., and physics textbooks. I was hoping to start reading through Chronicles of Narnia again and I'd like to finish Blue Like Jazz, which I started almost a year ago and have been reading on and off when I have time.
