Harry Potter Moves to July '09 and Twilight Moves Up?

Okay since people probably don't know I'll post this thread.

Ugh, I was really hoping to see Harry Potter this year. Seriously. I'm as much of a fan as the next Twilighter but why did they move Harry Potter to July of 09? [I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter films. :D] What happened to move it back 9 months? Please tell me. Why couldn't it just come out maybe later in December 08? Or even January?

Good news in all this is that Twilight will be coming out 3 weeks earlier on November 21st 2008. :]

Originally Twilight would've been competing with the Day The Earth Stood Still [or something like that] but now it'll compete with Bolt who stars Miley Cyrus as the voice of the little girl.

I wonder how much competition that can really be.

Also if Harry Potter still had that slot that would've been like killing an ant. Harry Potter would be the Big Person and Bolt the Ant xD No matter how big Miley Cyrus is -squash- Ha. I couldn't come up with a different comparison.

This is truly a Bittersweet moment. Ugh.

Those Harry Potter movies are coming out too slow... They still have the Deathly Hallows after this one, and they are actually splitting up the story and releasing it as two separate movies. That's three more movies... Those kids outgrew their roles about 3 years ago as well... So they are going to try and have them pull off acting in roles that are like 6-7 years younger than they are. Old farts.

I can't stand the movies they just seem to...not kidish to how they are supposed to be in the book, though in the book some things aren't supposed to be kid-ish, but how they portray them in the movies just doesn't sit well with me so I try not to watch the movies...

I could care less about the movies, for every single one that has come out is a sham, a mockery of the fine written work. Of course when all seven comes out then there can be some ridiculous marathons, way longer then LOTR.

Why are they making another one. I really can't take all these childish movies comming out one right after another. There only needed to be the books.
