I honestly think, there are too many emo or "goth" kids who are getting very silly tattoos.

don't have any, though I truly appreciate a well thought out and beautifully executed tatoo. unfortunately there's not many to be seen a lot of the time. I tend to find a lot of people's tatoos to be very pointless with little or no meaning.
I couldn't go through with getting one because I'm too fickle about art. I'll love something uncontrollably for a while, but eventually lose interest. Nothing says I f*ck'd'up like covering over the name of your ex boyfriend with the name of your new one......

I have to boast, I am unique. I was born with a tattoo. More than half of my right arm is red. If you pester me about it, I'll post a photo, but I can't right now, for I have no camera on me. If you have to imagine it, it looks exactly like the stain left behind by Ashitaka's curse on his right arm in Princess Mononoke. There's a downside though. Over the course of the next 20 years, the red half of my arm (including my entire hand) will thicken, eventually cutting off the nerves in my arm. Hows that for a mutation?

Hey, I'm not against tattoos, frankly people can do whatever they want with their body. I just don't want to do it because I like my skin the way it is, and I don't want to end up with any of the health risk of using my skin like a permanent etch and sketch.
