Has anyone read the manga as well as seen the Anime and can you tell me if its an awesome adaptation or if one is better than the other. I'm watching the anime now and its only 26 eps long and i dunno i don't see it getting finished like blood+ and deathnote and so on is there more to it is the manga longer, because i do like it, i just feel its missing sum thing i don't know what maybe a bit more character development or i dunno im going nuts over it tho... need to finish it 5 more eps to go and no work till 3pm today!!!
so basically should i read the manga do you think its better?

sorry can't help there, I've got the first 4 volumes of the manga but I haven't started watching the anime and since I'm on a tight budget at the moment I can't get anymore of the manga so it's hard to give you an idea of how far it gets, what I suggest which will only help in terms of story arcs included and length is wikipedia, yes the manga 99 out of 100 times is longer but you can see if it skipped any story arcs that you wish it hadn't and if there are plans for other seasons that you want to wait to read the manga for

hmm, Imma tell u something that i've heard.(not from personal experience) They say that sense the manga is longer, and that they shorten the anime, that the manga is waaayy better, they say it will fill u up better, cuz the with the anime, there is like stuff missing, part of the plot is cricket and the end is totally different then from the manga. This i can tell u from personal experience, that the anime has some parts that when u finish watching the whole anime, ur gonna be wondering about. AND the end sucked...-_- *hoping there is going to be a 2nd season* but from what i've heard, the manga is better.
HOPE THIS HELPED :p

from my experience, the manga is ALWAYS better then the animes, its like when stephen kings novels become a movie there nothing compared to the book, they can put more story into the manga then in the anime, but I havent read any Claymore, maybe I'll start now.

Now dont get me wrong but in my opinion with animes like claymore and beserk its not all about the story line, its really all about the action and the giant swords.:D I've only read a few Mangas and compared them to there animes and so far from what I've read, the mangas do portray the storyline better but I luv watching the shows so much that i kind of forget about the story line and just go ooooooooo aaaaaaaaa :eek: the whole time im watching it. Demon eyes ftw!!

i enjoyed claymore alot, and from what i've heard, up to a certain point it followed the manga pretty closely.
although when it stopped, i guess it totally stopped and took it in a relatively different direction.
i enjoyed claymore alot, but i was pretty bummed with the end. they obviously leave it open for a second season, but it doesn't seem like its actually going to happen, so it was just kind of unnescessary to end it like that.
