i think she means conventional weapons that you can actually use.

for me, i like batons and baseball bats. i can manage with no weapon at all (does that count?). i can do ok with nunchucks but those kind of thing are usually only for show.

and if sh*t really hits the fan, i got my trusty .38.

I would have to say a Katana hand forged to perfection, with a blade about 60 inches long, plus handle would be about 70 inches, with a heat temper finish, made out of preferably adimantium but if it cannot be made out of that then carbon steel would do just fine. Then to fit my fighting style, I would add either an exact replica of the sword I just explained, or a long dagger made the same way.

I was just going to say a Katana but yours sounds so specific and by what it's made out of seems extremely durable. Although, the length would be a little to long for me and maybe I would try to have it made out of the 'black box' if they could perfect it of course. x]

The black box sounds vaguely familiar, but to tell the truth adamantine is the hardest substance in the known universe and is extremely hard to find, like 1 in a 100,000,000,000,000 hard. But if you can find it and forge a sword out of it, then that sword is unbreakable no matter what you do to it, and no amount of weight can bend it either.
