If there is water on Mars then it can hold life which mean there is a chance to get off this planet and go somewhere else.

it'd be cool if they show that the probability of life is likely, however I'm not going to hold my breath that I'll be living on mars any time soon. sure there's water. but it's scarce, and in the form of ice under the soil. I'm not in the mood to go to mars to be an ice miner.

So, basically, Water is the last piece they need to tell that life can live in Mars?
Well, isn't water useful for life only in some extent/conditions? Im no good biologist, could someone enlighten me?

with the lack of sufficient water to fill the pool, and abundance of dirt and such. I think it'd end up way more muddy than anything...which means scantily clad foxy mama mud wrestling on mars!!!

well there is water but its frozen. astrophysicly mars has an unstable spin. instead of a concurrent cycle like earth has it moves like a centmeter per year in a million year cycle or something but anyways theres only ice on the top of mars and its frozen over o.O micro cellular organisms only.......


my theory is that millions of years ago martian scientest fixed the problem of global warming by freezing their planet over. because of the terrain most of the smaller mountians degraded and covered the ice. the mix made the surface red and thats how it all happened

So,Sure they found ice,therefore water on mars,but here's the question..

Did they also find remnants of past live forms frozen into the ice?
