The Flavor Of Life

We often talk about the spice of life, or of moments having a flavor.
For instance, I've often heard it said, "But the substance, the flavor of the moment, would be lost."

So, thinking of life as a flavor, or of moments as flavors, what flavor would some of the most important moments of your life have?

For example, if I were to describe the flavor of my engagement day, I would have to say it was like strawberry shortcake. It was soft, comfortable, sweet, and all so airy, all at once.

Hmmm, interesting, I'd have to say my recent life has been like hardtack.... though every once in a while I do find a semi-sweet chocolate morsel^^

at the moment, banana bread. it will be upgraded to banana bread with walnuts and chocolate once I find out what stinks in my room. you go away for one weekend and when you come back it's got its own little funk. what's up with that?

Let's see it started off kinda bland. Then it went sweet. Then bitter. Then a flavor EXPLOSION that lasted for about 4-5 years, and now its something I don't know.

mine is like a chili. it can be spicy like full of burst or exitement but when its not hot, it can be very tasteless and boring

Yeah, that sounds about right. But the bad thing is it depends on where you live. Some places use salt, other use horse crap.

Mine would be bitter. Perhaps an analogy to a sour candy could be used, but let the candy be concentrated lemon juice and forget about any "sweet filling" or "coating." Just... bitter.
