It's been a while since I actually updated everyone through the main site about the latest news, but I thought this was important enough to do so.

Lately you may have noticed animefuel.com being slow at times and taking way too long to load. To counter this problem I have been going around optimizing pages to reduce page size and reduce dynamic content on the site. Dynamic content being stuff pulled from our database.

One of the biggest changes is to remove comments from displaying on the site. I have of course made a backup but hopefully we will notice a difference in performance over the next few weeks.

Also we will now being performing daily moderation of chatbox messages by deleting them all once a day. This should also speed the site up.

Opinions and Suggestions most welcome

Another thing you could do is delete data for attacks and defenses in the army game after every couple of days or somthing.

You could think about knocking down the Myspace Video Forum since it goes regularly unused.

Perhaps take away the introduction part of the forum and replace it with a single thread.

Perhaps delete topics about series/vids wrong or fixed after 24 H , that should clear up some space :D I see them stick around for some time...

Rince, we have a thread that we just merge the topics into. :/

I don't really think it would make a big difference. We could try, though.

Wouldn't make any difference. And deleting posts is bad for backlinks and search rankings
