First of all with exclamation marks you either use one or you don't use any. I also will not cannibalize HN or eat her work. And finally I don't do graphics but I can't tell what I like, and when somebodies work is dwarfed by somebody else's.

O.o
I'm not competing my skills with any other person. I do this for fun. I study biology at Cal most of my time during the school year and don't touch photoshop for months on end. I don't consider myself as a pro.

Pssh, love is just the wusses version of lust, and thus obsolete.

Actually isn't the opposite? Those who can't face the reality and commit to another person - run away from their weaknesses. Well, you are too young to understand it now, but when you mature... then you might understand.

Because you see actually committing to somebody takes away independence, and if you really need some other person to solve your problems for you instead doing it yourself not only are you weak for not having the strength do it by yourself but you lack self sufficiency.

Although this is very off-topic, I must say that I don't believe that committing to somebody takes away independence. Clingy people get dependent on their partner, but if two people are strong-willed and independent in their lifestyle and then get together, they still can be independent on their own ways. It's true that there are a lot of couples that rely on each other for moral and financial support since I believe that human beings in general are social animals; therefore, it's natural to rely on each other.

If there is one thing I have learned in this chaotic/piss-anoying life, it would have to be "you can trust no one except yourself". I dont have problems with "commitment", but why "rely" on someone you obviously dont need to rely on?

Just because something is natural doesn't stop making it a weakness. Take this as an example, when a Dodo was mildly annoyed it made a loud shriek (by nature), this led to not only humans but other animals finding it and killing it, seems pretty weak to me.
