They say she’s sucked face with Satan
That she saw him down in his knees
They say she touched his haunting face
And gave into his unspoken pleas

She saw it’s wicked smile
As she looked into the eyes of evil
She held him by his manipulating hands
Lost her faith with no retrieval

They say it’s her mother’s fault
That when she was young and naive
Made her grow a hatred for God
And forget the story of Adam and Eve

She sold her harmonious soul
And now there’s only mortal remains
In return satan gave her a chest
Only she knows what it contains

They talk about me all the time
Yes it’s me who has the chest
Touched Satan in ways you never will
Done more than sold my soul, I’ve confessed

I’ll tell you his body’s so sultry
And his eyes are violent
His breath is hot with a certain aroma
His voice is a mystery, he’s silent

He’s a demon you’ll meet one day
If you lead your life like me
But you won’t get to tell the living
All you feel, hear, and see

Unless you recieve a small chest
Like mine there on the shelf
Every one’s task is different
Shown to you by lucifer himself

When they see there unforgiving task
Most people say no to the little chest
They just suffer for there sins
Like all the rest

Don’t listen to what they say
Heaven is dreary and pale
Look at what the rumors have done
Humanity is too frail

Interesting concept. I'm intrigued by the notion of frailty at the end, though. What does it mean?

Good poem.
